A celebration of Fairtrade fortnight with molasses, spices and peanut butter, try and use products with that famous logo.

2 tbsp blackstrap molasses |
3 tbsp peanut butter |
110 grams rolled oats |
60 grams rice flour |
2 tsp ground ginger |
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon |
60 grams raisins |
30 grams finely chopped crystalised ginger (optional) |
1 tbsp flaxseed, mixed with 1 tbsp water |
Pre-heat the oven to 190°C/Gas Mark 5 and line a baking tray.
Over a medium heat, place the peanut butter and molasses into a saucepan and stir for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Add all of the other ingredients and stir well to combine.
Make 9 balls with damp hands and press down onto the baking tray.
Bake for 15 minutes until coloured on top.
