We hope everybody is keeping safe and well at this time.

Updates will be posted here as the situation changes.

We are experiencing unprecedented levels of purchases due to the changes in buying habits surrounding the current concerns around Coronavirus.

We are doing all we can to meet demand but please do bear with us during this exceedingly busy time. Some of our staff members are not in because they are in the vulnerable group and we feel that for their own safety that they stay at home. This means we have reduced staff.

We have been putting the our phone system on answer phone during very busy times and during the time we are closed, to ease the burden of staff members.

Please note that we have temporary disabled the online shop as we can no longer meet demand because of out of stocks and the number of orders.

We also have suspended taking new orders as of today (Tues 31st)  via phone or email while we get over the backlog of orders we already have.

The situation can change daily so do please check our website for updated news.

We are open
Monday to Saturday
9am to 12 noon
2pm - 5pm

We will be closed on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday.
(10th April to Monday 13th, we will reopen Tuesday 14th at 9am).

There will be a limit of 10 people in the shop at any one time. If you come as a couple it is helpful that only one person comes into the shop.

Please do keep 2 meters distance from other shoppers and staff members.

Please we would encourage that customers do not bring children into the shop whenever possible.

We will not be taking cash, CARD ONLY.

Customers are only allowed two max of any one product.

We are keeping our staff and customers as safe as possible. The above gives more time to pack products and clean.

Our neighbours Workbridge are closed (The Cafe, Garden centre, Charity shop and other customer facing areas)

At the time of writing we do have bread flour and some yeast (our biggest seller at the moment!), we hope this will continue but be aware that getting supplies in especially yeast is difficult.

We are packing our own packed products as much and as quickly as we can. Because of reduced staff this again is difficult.

We are receiving stock in almost daily but there are out of stocks and it is difficult to predict what we will have and when, as our suppliers are also under heavy demands.

However stock is coming in, the issue is the supply chain with every company under pressure with reduced staff and higher than normal demand.

We have taken other measures to keep customers and staff safe and will continue to do so.

It is important that we keep you and our staff safe so thank you for your understanding and patience.

Thank you.

openQuoteI love this place. Cannot stress how nice the people are here, they stock food items that you don't normally find. The scones are very good (located at the checkout)
